I've been in a slump lately and haven't found any romance novels that live up to my expectations, which got me thinking about books that I loved in the past. About fifteen years ago I picked up this book at Borders and fell in love. All I could remember was that it was a Scottish ghost story and what the distinctive​ 3D cover looked like. I typed that description in Google and found it, wahoo! It's lighthearted, romantic, has a unique story line, and is hard to put down. The ability to become corporeal, eat, drink, and their clothing to follow along and change wasn't exactly likely, but the story was too good to really mind that. One sore spot for me ***minor spoiler*** was that Lachlan didn't tell Beth in time for her to go get seen for help. Seriously not ok.The only other, this time tiny, complaint I have is why in the world did they change the cover for the Kindle edition? It makes the book independently published and I had to double check it was the right book. I'm just cautious of the quality of anindependently​ published book so I don't think it gives it the credit it deserves, and I miss seeing Lachlan in front of the fireplace. It's wonderful to have found this book again, and now I know it's actually a series, which has me pretty stoked. One to the next book, which I hope is about Roan's story

This book was one that I'd found on my "search" for a great, well thought out romantic ghost story. I read the other reviews and thought that this book might be exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't. It was a cute story, there was some humor, but it was kind of slow and predictable. I understood when I purchased this book that it was one of four, needless to say I won't be getting the other three.
Disappointing, juvenile story with sex thrown in.
This is a book I had read when I was in high school. I hijacked it from my mom, and then lost it. I'd been looking for this book for some time and I found this seller. I immediately bought (2) and had one delivered straight to her. Thank you for having this hard to find book.
I read Everlastin' when I was younger and I fell in love with the story. I thought it was a sweet story and that the romance was beautiful even though it wasn't exactly what I was expecting in the end it was still a fabulous story and I cannot wait until my book arrives and I can read this beautiful story again.
I loved this book when I first read it 15 years ago and could not stop thinking about it, so I am glad I was able to find the ebook. The story of Beth and Lachlan is one of love that transcends time. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love and tries to get girl, girl falls under boy's spell. The wit and humor, as well as Lachlan's Scottish brogue brogue and cultural differences, add interest to the story.
Iadored the cover, I adored the book and the primary and secondary characters. I was quite taken with the 3 sequels. The Frustration didn't come in until the end of the fourth book (Hope Everlastin'). Everything was left up in the air and dangling. I even found out via an E-mail from the author, that the 5th chapter was to have been titled "Time Everlastin'" and was almost coplete. That was summer 2001. Sadly, it's now summer 2002 and the book has still not been published. It seems Ms. Madden got dumped by her publisher and has yet to find another. Too bad, it was agreat series. I'd love to know how it all came out. That's the everlastin' frustration. Don't start if not
being able to finish will bother you as much as it does me.
I loved this book so much that I purchased a 2nd one in large print so I can read it when I grow old. I'm not a person who reads paranormal books - ever, (this one is actually the only one) but Lachlan (the ghost) stole this gal's heart completely with his creative wit, determination, and tunnel-vision devotion for his heart's love, Beth. It was the first book that when I finished, I immediately turned to page one and read it again. Entertaining and enjoyable!
