Creative illustration and writing. Very entertaining to read to children while educating them about eye disease. The book covers 3 eye illnesses: conjunctivitis, vitamin A deficiency and amblyopia, which are common. This could be a good book for public health initiatives in developing countries, or to educate children in eye clinics when they want to learn more about their eye troubles. Given how important it is to teach children good hygiene to keep their eyes healthy, a little education goes a long way. I would love to see the author produce more in this series. It's not always easy to teach children about proper hygiene practices. This comic quite cleverly helps children not only learn how to practice proper eye care but also gives a description as to why the practice is important. Excellent education tool appropriate for any child!
